WoW – You Are A Network Marketing Entrepreneur!

Author: I hope that you all had a great weekend! I got to thinking the other day about whether or not most network marketers consider themselves to be entrepreneurs. Do they have the right mindset to run their own business?
en·tre·pre·neur: a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, esp. a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
People get involved and start a network marketing business for a variety of reasons…it sounds like fun, they want or need extra income, or they need to replace their income because of current economic conditions, or they just want to be in business for themselves. The entry barrier to start a home-based business is very low, so it’s easy to get started.
As a network marketing business owner, we are all entrepreneurs. Believe it or not! We have taken the initiative, and made a capital investment, to start a business. Kudos to us! BUT, what we do after starting our business is what differentiates the true “entrepreneurs” from those who contribute to that high 95-97% network marketing “failure” rate that we always see quoted.
I think that number is hugely inflated by many people who never really TRY to build a successful network marketing business for themselves. They ask a few friends or family members to join their business opportunity and when they say no, our would-be entrepreneurs are done. They are shocked that everyone they ask does not join. These people may quit the industry altogether or they may join a different business opportunity, thinking that their last business was the problem
If you are reading this article, you most likely are not one of those people. BUT, you probably have some of them in your downline!
