What do you want to achieve in your first year of Network Marketing Understandably, you might feel bit lost about where to start building your business. Initially you thought this was going to be easy and if you believe what your sponsor says, you’ll be rich in no time at all….really? They tell you that you only need to sponsor six, who’ll sponsor three, who’ll sponsor five … and the whole thing will come together over night… right?

You’re going to find pretty quickly after you’ve “shown the plan” to all your friends and family and sold them a bit of product which they buy to support you, that your initial success and enthusiasm for your business starts to decline after while because of “attrition”.

What do I mean by Attrition; Once you’ve sponsored everyone you know (…who’s interested) and once all their cupboards are full of your products, your business will start to stall. This is because you have exhausted what we in the trade know as your “warm market”. So what do you do now to generate more leads and prospects to show your business and sell your products to so you can make money in your first year in Network Marketing?

What you need to learn is something we in the business call “Attraction Marketing” and this is what will explode your business in your first year in Network Marketing:

All of your successful upline have understood the concept of “Attraction Marketing” for many years and have amassed great wealth on the back of “Magnetic Personalities” and charismatic presentations. The real key to “Attraction Marketing” is target prospects who are actively seeking the opportunity you posess right now, have the ability and desire to pay for it, and are ready to get started right away. The “Old School” techniques of throwing as much mud at the wall as you can and working with whatever sticks is a foolish notion taught by people with little business sense and absolutely no Marketing foresight whatsoever.

The basis of “Attraction Marketing” is that we only talk to qualified leads who are already interested in what we are doing. The only question remains; how to sort leads efficiently online so we can spend our time with people who deserve it?

Attraction Marketing is very real and you’ll find very effective in your first year in Network Marketing, which is increasingly internet based. Mike Dillard’s book Magnetic Sponsoring is great to use for someone in their first year in the Network Marketing Industry. In fact, if you try to build any sort of MLM Business without this book is, in my opinion a complete waste of time because everyone else in the industry is far ahead of you from the start.

I could write hundreds of pages of details on how to survive your first year in Network Marketing but I’m sure you would rather do your own research.
